James has 18 years experience in successful implementation of IT solutions for business at CERN ranging from financial & logistics to data warehousing, e-business and e-procurement with an early adoption of web technologies (1996).

James previously led the Internet Development Services group, which was responsible for developing bespoke e-business tools that have now become ubiquitous household names at CERN. More recently James was project leader of an initiative to introduce dashboards into CERN’s administration.

James was brought up in Mallorca (Spain) and moved to work at CERN after having graduated with a 1^st Class Honours degree in Computer Science from Brunel University (London).

In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking and teaching as a qualified snowboard instructor.
